In an age where most Newtonian telescopes looks like they belong on the set of a science fiction movie or made from leftovers from a house under construction, Telescopes Normand Fullum is proud to offer an eye pleasing to the standard fare.

Using only fine woods for the optical tube and telescope mount, each telescope is finely crafted to provide a pleasing eyeful wheter you are looking at the telescope or through the eyepiece. Precision artisan craftmanship is present throughout the entire construction of the telescope, from the grinding and hand figuring of the primary mirror through to the layers of finish applied to the wood.

Il existe divers style, Normand emprunte souvent le style Victorien, Moderne ou pourquoi votre propre style. Chaque télescopes est construit pour chaque individu. Aucune production de masse, chaque instrument est unique au monde.

Les nouveaux propriétaires peuvent choisir une variétée de bois et de métaux pour le tube optique et la monture. Les pièces métalliques peuvent être de l'aluminium, l'aluminium anodizé, l'acier inoxidable ou le laiton.

Le porte-oculaire peut être fait de bois fait par Normand, il utilise le design de type Crayford ou vous pouvez choisir une multitude de porte-oculaires commerciaux.

Avant le début de la production de votre télescope Normand vous consultera à  propos des bois et métaux utilisez pour votre télescope et des détails des spécifications de votre miroir primaire.


Design stylings vary from Victorian, Arts and Crafts, Modern or a style of your own choice. All of the telescopes are custom designed and built for each individual owner. No mass production or cookie cutter manufacturing in the design or building of the classic telescope line.

Owners may choose and mix and match from a variety of woods and metals for the optical tube and mount. Exposed metal components can be aluminum, anodized aluminum, stainless steel or brass.

Focusers can be a wooden crayford designed by Normand or one of the commercially available focusers of your choice.

Normand will consult with each buyer on the style, wood used, metals, fasteners, mirror size and focal length prior to the final design of each commisioned telescope.
